Dear Parents,
This week we encouraged the students to take 5 minutes out of their day and schedule it for God. We frequently get busy in after school events, sports, homework, and other things that we completely forget about God, when God deserves so much more of our time. This time should be focused completely on God, not on who just texted them, what’s going on on Facebook, or what show is on TV. They should set apart completely silent time for him.

Dear Parents,

We are continuing on in our IDK (I Don’t Know) Sunday morning series, getting a deeper biblical look questions your students have. Feel free to join us at 9:15am or to pop in, class goes into 10:15am. Last night we talked about how God has a plan and purpose for our lives and how He wants us to have a relationship with him to understand his purpose and calling on our life, and how when we try to live life our way and not his things to not go smoothly or as planned. Also feel free to join us on Wednesday nights! Doors open at 6:30, from 6:30 to 7 the students can buy dinner, candy and or snacks, along with drinks. The message ends at 8 although students are allowed to stay until 9 and hang out and play games. This Wednesday night student are invited to the Team AJ meeting which is at 6pm in the youth group. This is a student leadership group that will be lead by Andrew Lehr and it will be a mentoring time and a time where students will learn and grow in their faith and help spread the love and passion to the rest of the youth group. The the requirements and such will be discussed in this meeting so if your student would like to be more involved this is the time!
